HOT POSITIONS - at Sea
The Licensed Deckhand is responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the interior/exterior of the vessel, and assisting with small boat operations/driving small boats with guests. In addition, the deckhand will assist with bridge watch/navigation, perform hourly security patrols including nightly engine room inspections, and assist with general boat operations. This position reports to the 1st Mate and will assist the Master in communicating and enforcing all company policies and procedures. The Wellness Instructor is a customer service representative who is responsible for providing massage, yoga, and stretching to clients on vessels carrying between 36-88 guests. The Wellness Instructor is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the workout space, massage cabin, and exercise equipment. This position also assists with needs of the Hotel Department, such as meal service and cleaning, or assists the Expedition Department with kayaking and hiking operations as directed by his/her supervisor. HOT POSITIONS - on Land
The Port Engineer is responsible for planning and managing maintenance and repair work of all vessel electrical and mechanical systems onboard assigned company ships. This position also includes daily management of multiple shipboard Chief Engineers and Assistant Engineers. This is a full time, year round position based at the company headquarters in Seattle and requires periodic travel throughout the year (to Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon and Mexico) for emergency relief, ship-check inspections, departmental audits, and skills training. The Senior Director of Global Sales is ultimately responsible for all domestic and international retail trade relations, national account development, oversight related to partners such as wholesalers, marketing organizations/consortia and niche markets. Candidates for this position are to demonstrate exceptional and multi-dimensional skills in the areas of strategic planning, problem solving, complaint resolution, multiple account accountability, supervision of dispersed staff, prioritization, public speaking and presentation skills and an ability to communicate essential brand characteristics powerfully, concisely, confidently and consistently.
