HOT POSITIONS - at Sea

Assistant Engineer
The Assistant Engineer is responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the maintenance, operation, and repair of all vessel electrical and mechanical systems onboard ships. The Assistant Engineer reports to the Chief Engineer and will assist the Master in communicating and enforcing all company policies and procedures. Complete job description

Deckhand-Licensed
The Deckhand-Licensed is responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the interior/exterior of the vessel, and assisting with small boat operations/driving small boats with guests. In addition, the deckhand will assist with bridge watch/navigation, perform hourly security patrols including nightly engine room inspections, and assist with general boat operations. Steward
The Steward is a multi-talented and hard-working position. Main job responsibilities include: meal services, cleaning of guest cabins and interior public spaces, assisting with bartending/cocktail service, and occasional galley duties. HOT POSITIONS - on Land

Accounts Payable Coordinator, Seattle
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for all Accounts Payable functions in the accounting department including: verifying invoices and GL codes, reconciling vendor statements and petty cash/credit card statements, and issuing checks for payment. This position will also prepare the AP register and other related reports, and research payment and/or vendor issues when required. Airport Guest Services Representative, Juneau
The Airport Guest Services Representative is responsible for assisting vessel guests at Juneau International Airport. Guests will either be arriving for or departing from their cruise. This position is land-based in Juneau, AK and accommodations will not be provided. Compensation for this part-time position will be at an hourly rate, for a total of 20-30 hours per week. Corporate Chef, Seattle
The Corporate Chef is responsible for all ongoing galley operations and long term planning related to the Galley and Back of House (BOH) staff for half the sailing fleet: vessel distribution TBD. These duties include recruiting, training and vessel assessments; performance management; menu development; budget management, and vendor relations. In conjunction with the onboard Hotel Manager, the Corporate Chef is the primary support, contact, and remote supervisor to assigned Chefs during each vessel’s operating season. Guest Services Representative, Juneau
The Guest Services Representative is responsible for assisting vessel guests at our Hospitality Suite. Guests will either be arriving or departing for their cruise and this position will be the go-to person for airport transfers, luggage check-in, and around-town advice. This position is land-based in Juneau, AK and accommodations will not be provided. Port Captain, Seattle
The Port Captain serves as Nautical Operations liaison for overnight passenger vessels, as assigned, within the company’s fleet. The Port Captain is the direct supervisor of assigned vessel Masters and assists with ensuring each vessel is crewed, operated, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and guest expectations. The Port Captain helps ensure the safe, cost effective and environmentally sound marine transportation of passengers via oversight/monitoring and coordination of daily vessel operations in conjunction with the Director of Nautical Operations. Safety Manager, Seattle
The Safety Manager acts as the Company Security Officer, serves as the Company’s Alternate Designated Person Ashore and Document Controller as required by applicable codes. The Safety Manager maintains up-to date knowledge of UnCruise Adventures operations and its associated statutory, regulatory and legal requirements and ensures the Safety Management System is current with regulations and requirements. Sales Manager, Groups & Charters, Seattle
The Sales Manager, Groups & Charters is responsible for establishing new and strengthening existing sales relationships with businesses who have a proven track record of promoting and producing group travel or private charters, and with new marketing and distribution partners in tourism and other sectors that can attract groups of travelers. Success within different market niches is preferred, i.e. incentive, multi-generational family travel, association/non-profit, weddings/honeymoons, corporate meetings/retreats, sports/recreation, etc. This position also engages retail agencies that belong to marketing organizations and inspires them to understand the benefits of marketing and selling group travel, as UnCruise Adventures is a preferred supplier for all major U.S. and Canadian travel consortia and many affiliated agencies, such as Virtuoso, Signature, AAA, Travel Leaders and Ensemble.
