Today I came home. I don’t live here but coming back to Glacier Bay National Park always feels like coming home to me. I’ve worked here in the summers for eight out of the last fourteen years and it has become a place as familiar to me as my hometown.
Our day of adventure began with peaceful whale watching in Dundas Bay inside Glacier Bay National Park.
It was day five on board the Safari Quest, the eve of our journey into Glacier Bay National Park. As I do each and every night, I made an announcement of our itinerary for the next day to the passengers as they were enjoying their evening dessert.
