Let me tell you about what may have been the first ever UnCruise Glacier Bay National Park, glacier-to-glacier, skiff, and shoe.
Glacier Bay is a unique place. Here you get to see the raw forces of nature sculpting some of the most dramatic fjords on the planet. And at the same time you can see the abundance of wildlife and plant life that calls this place home and thrives in this colossal landscape.
We are lucky enough to be graced by the presence of a real live National Park Ranger each and every day that we are in Glacier Bay National Park. This week the guests aboard the Wilderness Adventurer were in for a treat.
We bushwhacked through thick alder to get to a blue glacier lake in Tidal Inlet. I could feel bushes and trees hitting my arms going through the dense brush.
Whether here for a week, a summer, or many years, Alaska and the memories we make stay with all of us.
