This week, we’re diving into the Captain’s log. With year-round operations in Hawaii, the Safari Explorer and her crew are no strangers to adventure.

This week, not only did we glimpse a unique marine creature, we were delighted by five different species of cetaceans in one afternoon!

As the last light left the sky, the whale and dolphins disappeared below the surface, and the boat cruised back to its anchorage.

It has been a fun and exciting week here in the Hawaiian Island Archipelago. Even through the changing weather we have been doing all the fun things, and even had the opportunity to explore new areas of the Big Island.

I often get asked how I like my job. Usually, I smile and explain that it’s different every week. However, this week was exceptional.
