I am Scott, the assistant engineer on the Wilderness Discoverer, and fortunate to be in charge of running equipment on this vessel. I'm from California, and have never been to this beautiful paradise called Alaska.
We had just completed a full day of activities: snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, skiff touring, and hours of humpback whale watching.
I came to Alaska for the seafood and the Wilderness Adventurer created meals beyond my wildest dreams.
Captain Marce led the charge for this week's Polar Bear Plunge. Twelve people in total jumped into the cold waters of Icy Strait to get the day started.
