Latin America

7- and 10-night small ship adventures explore the coasts, jungles, and islands of Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia

Ocean, sky, or palms—painted with the brightest blues and greens. In Latin America, humidity soothes from the outside in. Howler monkeys and hummingbirds lure you along jungle hikes. Fragrant orchids creep out from mangroves. Villagers display their woven baskets. And strolls through ancient walled cities and sleepy coastal towns feel like a step back in time.

"We had a wonderful time. This was our 2nd UnCruise adventure and we will be back."

Seasonal Variations

Both the dry and the “green” seasons offer much to see in Latin America. While the green season is characterized by more rain, in the rainforest environments, rain can happen in any season. And because the three countries are so close to the equator—between about 7 degrees and 10 degrees north—temperatures change very little from month to month.

A variety of wildlife sightings are possible any time of year, while some occur with the changing seasons. From humpback whales and iguanas to ruby throated hummingbirds and butterflies, this region is known as a migration crossroads. You never know what Mother Nature might have in store for you.
